This has always repulsed and bothered me. Smoking is gross and bad for you and bad for other people and Allah's world. But how does it get allowed and alcohol doesn't? Alcohol isn't a drink of saints, but at least you're not harming so many other people. There's a masjid I know where educated speakers themselves smoke after the majilis, along with some young men who also vape. Also, don't give me the, "Smoking doesn't disrupt your faith," argument, because that argument is infuriating and hypocritical.
