The Prophet SAW has told us that the most important person to us after Allah SWT and the Prophet SAW is our mothers 3 times over then our fathers. In Islam the mother is on such a high pedestal we cannot even understand their status in the eyes of Allah SWT. So brother and sisters in this time of fitna and individualism, treat your mothers with excellence, be extra kind to them, be extra patient with them, don’t raise your voices to them, don’t back chat them, don’t argue with them even if they shout at you, even if they smack you, even if they say mean and nasty things to you, you cannot repay the debt you owe them, so be kind to them and endure their harshness as it is a short life and you owe them. Go out and buy your mother a present today and tell her that you love her.
