Salam, l am muslim, living in Viking Territory and l live next to Chruch and l have this nice neighbour that tries to hand me a bible, she is bit older than me, so few weeks back l invited her to a tea and we talked about Jesus Christ and Bible and l would tell her what we believe but she tend to ignore that part and starts hours long Jesus rant.
So, l went to Chruch with her and l talked to pastor about Jesus Christ and what we believe and he gave a bible, which l red, the Gospel of Matthew and l wrote down all the corrections to be consistent with Islamic view and l gave it to him and he said that it was nice theory but there was no historical basis or zero evidence outside of Islam.
Which sounded like true, so he gave me further reading and l pointed out similiar problems and he said the same thing, at that point l started to investigate and l found new testament apocrypha and ocean of gospels that they reject but come close to Islamic notion of Jesus, l gave him but ramadan started, so l took a break from that but l am gonna write a thesis about the whole thing to indeed show that such notion existed before gospel of Matthew but l'm not sure if all of this is haram or not. l also sent him Ghetto Gospel by Tupac Shakur, to show that there are more gospels than what he preached.
Tl;Dr: l went to Chruch and red a bible and wanted to know if it is haram to make a case for Islamic Jesus.
