Assalamualaikum. I heard in this podcast (timestamped to the actual part @20:30) about Prophet SAW turning his face away and not answering the salam of a companion because he (the latter) had built a 2-storey house, which could lead to a feeling of pride in a neighborhood of mostly single storey buildings.
I have never heard this before and the behavior seemed weird and contradicted what I've learned about our Prophet. Can anyone help me find the sahih source of this? I don't want to doubt the speaker because he's such a learned scholar in Seerah. He normally cited a narrator but not for this particular story.
Also in the same podcast (t=41:45), there was a mention of the Prophet SAW being on the upper floor when Umar RA went to approach him.
