CO2 keeps rising, and Islam predicts some really apocalyptic things for the future. This has taken a big toll on my mental and physical health. For the future, I feel like we would go into some sort of giant famine and such because of the way we treated the planet, but I think I once read a Hadith that said that certain phrases “alhamdulillah, la ilaha illa Allah, allahuakbar, etc” would be in replacement of food for Muslims when a big famine hits in the future? Can someone please cite me that Hadith if they know it?

Will we ever live in an era of peace beyond this time, or will we just suffer more and more until we die by the thousands? At this point, I have two options. One, if Islam is correct, at some point, god will send us Mehdi and Jesus to set us straight and give us the era of peace that they were destined to. I think it was 30 years or something. Soon, the Muslims will die peacefully by the smoke and won’t suffer the worst (though I think the worst is already here tbh).

The second option is that if Islam is actually wrong, then there’s nothing wrong with suicide, and I wouldn’t be afraid of the world anymore if I could easily just take myself out of it. No more fear of the news, no more fear of oppression/starvation, etc. A bullet to the head/overdose, and no more lingering anxiety. I’m not going to lie; I often wish Islam allowed suicide.

I’m stuck between these two POV’s and I need to figure out which one is reality before it’s too late. All I see on the news is that things are getting worse and worse everywhere and I really don’t want to live like this.
