I’m just posting a pdf of a review. I’m not far into the book but the author clearly relies on some bad sources when it comes to Islamic law or even the stories of the Prophet (SAWS). Very first chapter goes into how the Prophet was incredibly wealthy and how Islam encourages wealth through conquering, raiding, and war. He also cites the most dubious of sources like Washington Irving’s bio instead of quoting the Quran or Hadith. The link pretty much says the same thing, it’s not inherently something bad, I just want those who read it take it with a pile of salt.
Also be careful what you read on this site. The internet is the Wild West medium for propaganda and PsyOps. Just like this author, he knew the key words Islam and Capitalism would draw certain crowds, luckily for critical thinking, it didn’t lead me to go the more ex-muslim route that these sources tend to try and push people on this sub towards. Check sources and don’t be an idiot like me who bought this book and now have to live with paying someone to not do basic research on a religion the book is about.
