So I always assumed that an imam was the Muslim equivalent of a priest in Christianity but that was just from my very limited knowledge about Islam. So I guess in short my questions would be, what is a Imam and what is a Mullah and how do they differ? And is there any Muslim equivalent of a priest? Sorry if my questions come off as very ignorant.
