Should I tell my prof that he gave my assignment a higher mark than it should have received?

There was supposed to be a certain late penalty, and he even mentioned in the comments of the paper that he was deducting x amount because of that. But the final mark was a little higher than it should have been. I feel like if I don't tell him about this, it's cheating, which is haram.
