I have come across a number of people who are very adamant that caliph in Islam can only be an Arab. All of them are Arabs ofc, some are Arab nationalists but not all of them. Isn’t this against the arab not superior to non Arab except for taqwa hadith? if the caliph can only be from Arabs, that pretty much makes Arabs the ruling class. What are your thoughts about this?
