My cousin is very much into Islam, he is more involved with it more than anyone else around me. And recently he started wearing a robe and a cap(I'm not sure what they are exactly called in English but it's the stuff imams wear)to get similar to prophets, now i am not very knowledgeable about it's merits but it has been making it very hard for him to get a job, he looks very out of the ordinary and stands out a lot, especially for his young age, because of this he can't find a job, his family and mine is very worried about this. We told him that he doesn't have to wear that but he gets very emotional and starts shouting in the middle of the street and stuff during evening time. This disturbs the neighbours and overall doesn't look healthy for his mental health, how do we convince him to wear "normal" clothing. Btw he doesn't have much educational background so most jobs he could get involves being around customers so i don't think it's about job offerers being islamaphobic or something, they just don't want the employees to stand out/wear uniforms. We live in a mostly Islamic country so İ am 99.999999% sure it's not an islamaphobic situation, but you won't see people wearing robes out on the streets either. What should we do?

Big edit: i just found out something, he appearantly said that he would take them off when going to the work and he actually found a job and has been doing the paper stuff since 2 days ago but his dad still made me try to convince him. Now I'm turning on him, like bruh what's the problem then? İ will ask him when i see him again. İ gotta apologize to my cousin.
