"He also created horses, mules, and donkeys for your transportation and adornment. And He creates what you do not know." (16:8).

After mentioning means of transportation used at the time of the Holy Prophet (sa), at the end of the verse there is the Arabic: ويخلق ما لا تعلمون

It is common knowledge that the Arabic present tense (مضارع) can refer to both the present and the future. So the verse would also mean: "And He will create that which you don't know."

This is a beautiful prophecy from 1400 years ago that encompasses how much the world will change and progress after the time of the Holy Prophet (sa). Any hint of the concept of modern transportation didn't exist at that time, yet now they are a part of our everyday lives!

The Holy Prophet (sa) is also quoted to have said that at the time of the Messiah: وَلَتُتْرَكَنَّ الْقِلاَصُ فَلاَ يُسْعَى عَلَيْهَا

"And the she-camels will be abandoned and none would ride on them." Sahih Muslim 155c Book 1, Hadith 296

In those days she-camels were the absolute best way to transport goods and people across long distances. Yet the Holy Prophet (sa) said that there would come a time when even they would be of no use. Subhan Allah!

This Hadith also shows that the time of the Messiah (as) is now. How blessed we are to live in this era!

Brothers and Sisters, it is reasons like this that I am proud to say that I am a Muslim. Alhamdulillah!
