Assalamu alaikum,
yesterday i visited a masjid and i was just confused. We prayed taraweeh and endet it with witr. But the witr prayer was different as the one i know ? I know witr as 3 raka‘at, third raka‘at salutation dua qunoot and then ruku sujood and the " usual ". But they prayed fatiha and then a surah, ruku sujood fatiha and ikhlas falaq nas in one rakat, made dua whilst standing for a couple of time and then did the usual ( ruku sujood at tahiyyat etc. ) I even asked the guy next to me, an older man, he said that witr is 2 raka‘at and not three. What is the right way? As i know the masjid is runned by moroccan people ( if that matters)
