When i was younger my dad always told me that when i cried i should open the Quran and the right verses will be there for me. Why is it that every time i do it, the worst verses are always there?

I was crying about being gay and apologising to Allah, and the Quran opened up to a verse like ‘the hypocrite men are for the hypocrite women and they will burn in hell forever.’

To be honest this only made me cry more so I opened it again and it said something like ‘you are only one creation, Allah can easily destroy you and make a better creation in your place’

Paraphrasing becausei was cryimg and couldn’t read the actual ayat numbers

Why would this happen? Does Allah really hate me? I swear I opened it apologising, does allah no longer accept my apologies??
