I felt like these were some of the easier-to-use shimmers that Coloured Raine included in their more recent six-pan releases, as they were emollient but not overly so, which ensured they applied evenly to bare skin and didn’t “erase” the drier, thinner matte formula used in the palette.

2022 Formula: The formula is supposed to be "highly pigmented" and "blendable" with a "butterly smooth" feel.The majority of the matte eyeshadows were quite pigmented, while some of the shimmers were overly emollient, which resulted in sheerer and/or uneven coverage.
The matte eyeshadows have a bit of dryness to them, though they were pigmented and fairly blendable, but they tended to apply best over an eyeshadow primer, which ensured a better base for them to adhere to. The shimmer eyeshadows were best applied with fingertips or a flat, firm (and sometimes dampened) brush and pressed/patted into place, then lightly blended.
I did not love the two finishes paired together as the matte finish was thinner and more powdery compared to the thicker, denser shimmers, so the shimmers often "erased" the matte eyeshadows when blended out.
The formula was different than the brand's original single pan formula that they originally debuted with, and I preferred their original formula overall, though the new one is decent, just not as foolproof to work with.
