I’ve been searching around for a while regarding what is considered permissible in Islam when plucking a unibrow. Specifically, I wanted to know how much is permissible, I’m afraid I was over plucking my unibrow. A lot of sources mentioned that it should be the hairs directly above the nose or the width when I place my finger at the center of my unibrow. Is that true? I feel like those can be subjective, can someone please clarify?
I also read somewhere that the eyebrows can be trimmed slightly if the center hairs are longer than the rest of the brow. So, the hairs at the start of each brow can be trimmed if they are too long? The source said, it is to match the beginning of the brow with the shape of the rest. I found that kind of contradicting to the fact that we are not supposed to reshape our eyebrows by plucking, waxing, or trimming them. Any thoughts?
I forgot to mention, that’s coming from a sister, but I don’t think it makes a difference whether it is for a male or a female when plucking a unibrow. It can apply to both genders.
