My chest now feels lighter after breaking up from haram relationship.

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatu Allah
Yesterday I posted here asking how do I breakup from a relationship. And yeah, I did it and immediately after my chest felt lighter and somehow I was happy. I feel almost like Shaytan was sitting there the whole time.
I knew (and still know) that is the right thing to do, even if I have feelings for her but nothing's bigger than my love for Allah. Now I'm still scared to pray and face Him about my sins. But I really do want to start over, I'm just scared.
