My parents have never let me go to a friend's house and I'm an 18 year old [F], it has affected me negatively and I have social anxiety now because of it.
If I ask them to let me go for a sleepover to my female friends house for her birthday they might decline.
They say I'm not allowed because I'm a girl but my brother gets to be outside of the house all day until 2 AM.
