Salam, I was engaged for a few months and things ended. And I know that Allah didn't make it work at this point in time because it wouldn't have been good for us. Does this mean Allah won't ever reunite us in marriage in the future? Or is it possible that Allah wanted us to be more ready (in more ways than one, including me getting closer to my deen - I started praying and I do not miss a prayer now al hamdulillah) and will reunite us later on when the time is right? An example to illustrate my question: i applied for a job and did not get it. I reapplied for the same job 5-6 months later and al hamdulillah it worked out.
I felt and still feel like he is the one for me and I don't know what to do other than dua. Him and I still check up on each other every now and then however I do not know how he feels about our situation.
