Salam brothers and sisters. I hope you are well. I need some help. I am11 years old and I converted to Islam a pretty long time ago. I’m having a hard time with the entire religion. My parents love me and everything, they are are not supportive of my faith of Islam. They don’t “shut me down” or any of the sort. They just are not supportive of my conversion. I have told them I have said the shahada and I cant change my faith. I am trying to learn Islam alhamdulliah. It is pretty hard. I’m in western Massachusetts. There are only a few mosques and all of them are very far away. However on one friday, my parents wanted to go to fitchburg. I was dropped off, they gave me some money and a phone in case I was in trouble. On the phone, I found two mosques, both next to each other. It was a Friday. On google maps, Masjid Baitul Zikr (which was the mosque I could get street view because I was on the other side of town) had a sign that signified that it was a the mosque. However when I walked across town both mosques were not in sight, I found a Muslim couple and asked where the mosques were. They said there was one in Worcester. So if I want to attend the mosque, I have to ask MY PARENTS to go. Remember that they aren’t the most supportive when it comes to Islam. And even if they were, we would have to drive all the way to either Hadley or Worcester. And my parents aren’t as supportive. That is my lengthy thing to share, but what am I asking for?
I am asking for someone to send me a friend request, to help me become a better Muslim without the mosque.
