i am going for umrah with my wife and my mother. my mother has already done hajj so she will be guiding us for the most part. i'm confused about the state of ihram. the umrah trip is for 9 days, am i supposed to be in the state of ihram the entire time or just when i do the umrah. like am i in ihram when i am back in the hotel, one of my concerns is about sex but i also about not cutting nails and all that stuff. i know i should already know all this stuff at this stage but really have not had the time, both the wife and i are doctors doing housejob in Pakistan and our schedule has been crazy.
