I made a friend at school a couple of months ago-he is a very good friend and we both deeply care about each other and I would go as far to class him as my best friend.

Very recently I went over to his house to chill and religion somehow stumbled in our conversation he asked what my religion was and I said 'Islam-I am a Muslim' he said oh that's cool but from the look on his face I could visibly tell confused so I asked him what is your religion he says he is an atheist.

He doesn't believe in anything no god no nothing so another day when I was at his house I was watching tv on YouTube about a sheik speaking on the LGBT community and my friend asks why does Islam reject the lgbt community and I responded 'because it's wrong and one should contain their urges for the sake of Allah' I once don't regret my answer to his question and then he asked why again and then I told him because it wrong.

I asked him would you ever become religious he then says no and then I ask him would you ever become a Muslim he says 'no because I disagree with many of their teachings' to be fair I really regret asking him that as I should be a role model instead of forcing Islam onto others.

I want this question answered as honestly as you can-Will my friend be tested on judgement day? or will he not because he quite clearly knows about Islam we even spoke to sheiks outside of a masjid so because the message of Islam has clearly been spread to but he rejects it will he not be tested and sent to Jahannam.

He is a very smart, kind and liking person and it would sadden me if he does go to Jahannam but Allah knows best.
