I’d really like to learn about what type of messiah Isa was and what lineage he came from. Being raised in the west I was always taught of the Jewish and Christian concept of a royal messiah son of David from the Bible. I’m not trying to disprove anything I just genuinely want to know more about the Muslim Jesus and it’s hard to find sources for it. I’m definitely not a Christian because I know the New Testament authors corrupted and twisted the Old Testament to make up false prophecies about the New Testament Jesus. I don’t know how to reconcile this with the Muslim Jesus because I know according to Jewish scriptures Jesus can’t be the messiah. Now I know Muslims don’t believe he’s the messiah based off the Jewish scriptures. I just need a little more information than the Quran says he is and that’s why. That’s hard for me cause I grew up with countless scriptures saying the messiah would be a king of the line of David. Thanks.
