Salam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Barakatuh, I had a question about breaking oaths and what now, from what I've read only if you break an oath that you made to Allah (swt) you must expiate by doing the following :
(a) free a slave – or,
(b) donate clothing to 10 poor people (clothing must be able to cover enough of the body for prayer to be valid) – or,
(c) feed ten poor people one meal (monetary value of the food donated to 10 poor people suffices).
Or fast 3 days if you cant do any of the above. Do these expiations need to be done in person or can it be done through a online website through simple food donations or donation for clothing?
