I've noticed when men come on here to complain about temptations and excessive sexuality in society, one of the most common responses is "you need to lower your gaze what is wrong with you you should be ashamed that you're even asking that". It just seems so rude and unnecessary. Ofc lowering gaze is important but no need to be rude.

Like first of all I'm pretty sure it's mostly young men making those complaints-- and that's not the way to teach them.

Secondly I feel like people really do underestimate how bad society is today. There is a hadith that if a men and women are alone together, shaitan is with them. Now there doesn't even need to be a woman there, just a phone is enough. Scrolling on social media and reading the news it's barely possible to avoid all bad images. They are everywhere. It's literally like no other time in human history, the level of temptation shaitan places. This isn't any excuse, and I'm not asking for pity. But dang I think a lot of people don't appreciate how bad it is today. With AI that can produce images of humans from scratch like Inagen and Dalle2, it's only going to get worse.

Prepare yourselves brothers, shaitan is everywhere-- even in our own pockets. I don't know if it's the end of days, but holding on to the deen truly is like holding on to a hot coal
