Father keeps pressuring my mother into having inappropriate relations with other men.

Assalamu Alaikum everyone, I really need advice. My mother opened up to me today about my father’s infidelity with other men and he’s been pressuring her to have threesomes with other men. She’s been refusing and has never given in to his demands Alhamdulilah, but as a result from his anger he has hit her a few times. He keeps telling her that in Islam a wife has to obey her husband and she must agree to do this. He has also been gaslighting her and saying no one will believe her if she tells anyone else about it so she has gotten proof (screen shots of text messages of my father talking to escorts).

I told her to divorce him but she’s afraid of the Islamic repercussions. Also my mother has a lot of money but my father doesn’t. He’s told her that if they divorce he will get more than half of her money and she has health problems so she doesn’t work anymore.

I just need advice on what would be the best thing to do in this situation? Should I keep asking my mother to divorce my father, and if she does, what are her rights as a Muslim women? Will my father really be able to get half her money - I thought a woman’s money was her money only in Islam.
