I was born in America and lived here my whole life. I was born Muslim from an Arab background. I am in my twenties.
I don’t know who to call community. The local mosques are all different from one another. One is Salafi, the other Ikhwani, this one Sufi, the other liberal. Each of them talk bad about the other and claim they are the ones on truth hood.
It reached the point where I don’t even want to go to the masgid anymore. I just go pray my fardh prayers then go home. Personally, my family life sucks and I don’t really have any friends, so I may come with a bias. But I feel like a lot of other Muslims here feel as I do.
