Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters. I am an app developer and I want to get your opinion on an idea that I greatly believe can help the Islamic community all over the western world.
Alright, so as you may already know, food in the west is not halal 95% of the time. So, when you go to order food from delivery apps like DoorDash, or Deliveroo, you have to weave through tons of non-halal restaurants, or if you search with a filter such as "Halal", you still get non-halal options, or atleast its very suspicious sometimes, as restaurants that are clearly not halal label themselves as halal for more orders.
So I have decided to pursue building an app where all the halal verified restaurants in your city will be listed, and you get to order while staying assured you are helping the islamic community and restaurants grow. This would be very useful in cities like London with a growing islamic
So, what do you think? Would you be willing to use an app like this, or would you find it easier to continue using apps like Uber Eats.
