I've been seeing these subreddits ever since I joined Reddit. However, unfortunately Reddit doesn't really care about these hateful subreddits despite all the reports. Fortunately there has been a Time article about this, and even then Reddit admins still don't exactly care enough to address this.
Indian subreddits like r/chodi openly glorify genocide of Muslims. This is often done through dog whistles and under the name of "satire" but when you go through the comments it is clearly a subreddit that calls for the open genocide of Muslims and the invasion and colonization of Muslim lands by Hindu Indians.
The subreddit is also openly posting addresses and videos of Muslim restaurants. Remember, India is a hotspot of cow lynching where right wing Hindus kill dozens of Muslims each year for the "crime" of eating meat. It is very likely that the subreddit we are talking about is responsible for actual deaths of people. Yet, the subreddit openly flourishes.
The Time article also pointed out what goes on that subreddit without any care from the Reddit admins. This subreddit has also been reported thousands of times, posts like this have generated tons of support, and yet no admin cares even a little to check this stuff.
God forbid, Just imagine if that sub was a Muslim sub talking about Jews or Christians (Thankfully the vast majority of Muslims aren't brainwashed and are very open minded and relaxed people)... It is impossible to think that Reddit would ignore it for years.
