Salaam Aleikum, I'm a recent convert, before i converted i used to draw as a hobby. I also got to know that drawing images is not allowed in Islam. Even though I'm willing to adhere to the rules about drawing in Islam (like, inanimate things), I still have a few questions here.
- It's not allowed to draw creatures that Allah has created, but what about cartoons like pokemon, etc.? are they also prohibited?
- I've heard from one of QnA videos on drawing in Islam on youtube that, we can draw humans and creatures, but not including detailing like eyes, mouth, nose, etc.? what about a human in a costume where those details are not shown? eg: spiderman, is this permissible?
- What about drawing Aliens?
- What about digital art?
