I just wanted somewhere to rant. My doorbell's sound is a clear indication of my religion and for the longest time my neighbour, female 15, has been ding dong ditching us and we usually ignore it but today my dad was home and he confronted her and her friends for ringing our doorbell. They were extremely defensive saying they didn't do it whilst also passing off some racist comments. My dad went to their house to complain to her parents. She and her friends kept on insulting us in front of my face with no shame. It is even more offensive since we've lived in this house for 10 years and have been nothing but kind to her and her family, she was friends with my sister and often played at our house, and her parents have never outright offended us so I'm not sure why she is treating us this way now. It's just so annoying that this is the only time I have faced racism but in the area where I am supposed to feel free. I also wanted to know if this is something we should be reporting to the police because I'm afraid if we let her off with it she'll continue to harass us.
