Erdogan slashed interest rates and the economy crashed. Ofcourse as muslims we cant trade in interest and it seems like Erdogan dosent want to trade in interest either.
But how can a muslim leader prevent economical collapse? If we muslims were united we could demand interest free trade as we make up a huge chunk of the world. But sadly we are not and non-believers dominate global trade.
And for those who say cut interest to zero, its not that easy, when the economy tanks people literally wont be able to eat or drink, and people will come for your head before they and their children starve to death.
