I present you a verse from the Chapter 57: Iron in the Quran:
We sent aforetime our messengers with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is (material for) mighty war, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, Unseen, Him and His messengers: For Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might (and able to enforce His Will). 57:25
The phrase Anzalnal hadid "We sent down iron" is very interesting because it means iron does not come from earth. Why wouldn't it be like "we created iron" or "we make iron"?
It is only known to us that iron was a matter that cannot be produced by a planet or even our Sun. Iron is made from fusion reactions in huge stars, way more bigger than our Sun. When these stars exploded during supernovae, chunks of rocks were blown away; far, far away in the universe. Somehow, one huge chunk of iron rock made it into our solar system and hit the earth in its early days.
So, that's is how precise the Quran is. It is a common theme of the Quran to use the right words when to describe something. Any man wouldn't have the capacity to do so, not consistently. Moreover, a person who lived 1,500 years ago couldn't even imagine that the iron on earth could come from a distant star. If you ponder on the verses of the Quran, this is what you'll get. No human could have written it. This magnificent book must be from the Creator Himself.
