I was on my way to Jumu'ah last week Friday and someone driving negligently and recklessly drove into me. The person was unlicensed and said they were in a rush to fetch someone. Now they are refusing to pay for damages caused to my car and it's basically their word against mine. I have also decided not to go to court as it will be too expensive, take too long and stir up unnecessary fitnah. I will leave it to the Almighty.
If you guys can please give me some wisdom and Hiqmah about "what comes around goes around" and "karma" from an Islamic perspective because it is a very bleak feeling that you have to pay for someone else's negligence and no form of justice being served.
