I have been very consistent in the masjid lately. Everyday I am asked by elders in the community “where are you going, where are you coming from, what are you doing” I become so tired of all this information gathering that I lie. I have the best intentions as I don’t want to dismiss them disrespectfully in the masjid when making prayers. However they are making it hard for me not to lie because I don’t want all my information out there. Is this absolutely haram or is it considered a white lie. Jazkaykhair in advance
