Hello. So I’m 18, Muslim (practicing), but the past months I haven’t been reading much Quran because of school and stuff. Right now, I’m applying to universities, and I pray everyday that I get in because it’s my dream. Please pray for me and make dua for me to achieve this. But I have a question

Is it hypocritical of me to start reading a lot more of Quran, pray more, make more dua, and just do more stuff like that in general? Would that be considered praying for profit..? I intend to keep this up for the future because I am more happy with myself this way, but I can’t help but feel like it’s مصلحة.
