why is it 99.9% that if someone has left Islam, it is usually because he or she has/had an abusive family?

i do not intend to ridicule people who have left Islam. i think it's just a serious question. and since an abusive family in my opinion does not really have too much to do with Islam (well, culture is sometimes based on faith). but I myself never really find a specific, good reason why you really left Islam, and instead of leaving your religion (which is more likely to end up with problems depression - just check it on the internet or whatever), why don't you just have your parents reported to the police? then you could go on with your religion at your own leisure without them. too much pressure and abuse can make you tired of your religion, but if parents convey this in a good way, it usually isn't much of a problem. so this is basically my question. sorry if it seems like a stupid question to you but i'm just very curious and hope to see answers as soon as possible InshAllah.
