I understand that in Islam, it is common to refer to God as Allah and that there are something like a hundred different Names of God in total. However, when speaking in English, it is relatively common to refer to the God of Ibrahim as Yahweh. This comes from YHWH in the Torah, although out of respect it is not typically spoken aloud in Hebrew.

When speaking to a Muslim, how would it be taken if I referred to God as Yahweh? Would this be seen as insulting, or incorrect, or would it be acceptable, or maybe recognized as an odd foreign language translation?
