Im an atheist and have debated with various Muslims on this topic, I never get an answer that satisfies me but just the same response that encourages a loop-argument. Or, they suggest I talk to a credible scholar.
If an Omniscient god grants free-will, (free will being the ability to act on our own agency and determine our own fate) then an Omniscient god would know every act we do, every thought we have, will have and are having now. An all-knowing god would thus know the outcome of every being, either hell or heaven, regardless of the our illusion of freedom of will.
If we do have free-will and we decide our fates, then does God not know our outcome?
If God is all knowing and knows, for example, that I'm going to eternal Jahanam. Along with every human and their place in the afterlife, then what's the point?
Is life a sadistic experiment on life? Why test the student if you already know the outcome?
