Salam, I am a Muslim revert and I was wondering if anyone can explain to me how ghusl is done?

I'm from a western country so obviously things are done differently here when it comes to cleaning and so I have questions like how much of the an*s do I clean? Does the inside have to be completely clean? How do I go about doing it? I'm struggling to do it properly with my hand and I'm very confused as to how much I must clean.
