I’ve spent the last decade (and more) not really believing. I’m really struggling with the concept of there not being an afterlife, and the lack of hope and the anxiety is really overwhelming. I don’t want to believe that there is darkness and nothingness after death. I’d like to rediscover my faith, but I feel like I need a sign that there’s God. I’m scared to ask my family about these things. They’re all practicing but don’t really have any answers. This is a genuine need and desire to find knowledge. Does anyone have any books or sources that confirmed their faith?
Edit: if anyone could share why they believe, that would be greatly appreciated as well.
