How to find a friend group in university when almost every group has females in it?

So i (20M) just started med school, and its hard to find a group with only male students because theres always girls in them too. If i socialize with them, they are gonna invite me to hangouts which will have females too. And since they are na mehram for me it is not right to interact with them without any need or purpose. But i also dont wanna be left out
