Let me start off by saying I’m a Child Sexual Assault (CSA) survivor. I’ve been having this pull to Islam, and had lots of nice people reach out to me. I’m comforted knowing Aisha (r’a) was 15 (basically a LITERAL adult when compared to modern day given Allah’s added time for maturity into human development over the centuries), but I just remembered there are people who said Muhammad allowed sex slaves.

I don’t know whether to trust google, so I’m here to ask… is this true?

I have an inkling desire to be held by my Mother Aisha in what I have heard to be called Paradise, but if the allowance of sex slaves (even if only in war) is true I don’t know what to think. Which is why I came here to ask, so I get it straight from the source.

There are also more things I’d like to know. Please tell me if other common criticisms I see are true are false, and please explain why you think Allah would allow such suffering to be commanded rather than compensated in dua (I think that’s what it’s called? I know it’s in the afterlife)

If you have any links to online Quran, please share.
