My mother tongue is Urdu.
We usually say namaaz when referring to Salah. And Dua is called Dua.
Isn't prayer a better term for Dua? And Salah would be worship?
Go and offer Salah would be go and worship Allah?
And making Dua would be prayer?
So why is it so common in English to say prayer when talking about Salah
