Salam alaykum,

I am making the intention to go to Hajj in 2022 inshaAllah. I am going knowing that there is a chance that I may not make it back from the pilgrimage (1 out of 1,000 people die on pilgrimage). Although thats .10% of people, a very negligible amount, I want to make sure my rites as a Muslim are fulfilled before I go.

My goal is to:

  • Pay off any outstanding debts before Hajj 2022.
  • Make sure I have no haram income that I've accidentally earned in the form of interest (think, interest from holding money in bank). I am terrible at counting my money– If I do have any sort of income like this, I'm guess it'll be <$5, and I will pay this off towards charity with halal income.
  • Make sure my missing fasts are fulfilled.
  • Make sure my prayers are fulfilled.
  • Get vaxxed since it is being required by Saudi during travel.

Are there any other rites I am missing from the list? Also, for those who have gone on Hajj, how else can I prepare for the journey?
