Narrated Huzaifah (R.): Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "When a man leads the people in prayer, he must not stand in a position higher than theirs."

عن حذيفة عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال "‏ إِذَا أَمَّ الرَّجُلُ الْقَوْمَ فَلاَ يَقُمْ فِي مَكَانٍ أَرْفَعَ مِنْ مَقَامِهِمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
