Hey, I am from the West Coast of Canada and we recently had a mosque open in our community and I have been learning more about Islam and I have been thinking of visiting more and more lately. This is a question about the previous prophets who spoke before the Beloved Messenger of Islam.
Does Islam recognize Moses as a messenger of GOD/Allah? Does it recognize Judaism as a way of being in the world that was revealed by GOD/Allah?
Does Islam recognize the Tanakh as revelation from GOD/Allah? Why or Why not?
If so, are the promises in the Tanakh still considered true by Islam? IE: God/Allah's promise of the Land of Canaan to the Jewish people? Why or why not? (Genesis 15:18-21, Genesis 26:3, Genesis 28:13, Exodus 23:31)
I read that Islam is the Religion of the Truth so I look forward to hearing all of your responses. Thank-you for your time. :)
