Non Muslims selling your religion for money

You might've read the title and thought to yourself: 'How are non Muslims selling the religion that they are not even part of for money? What?'

As you know, we Muslims are raised to be religious, praise be to Allah, it doesn't matter if you're Arab, Pakistani or South East Asian. We all are raised to follow some rules of Islam if not many rules.

Unfortunately many implement these rules not for the sake of Allah عز وجل rather because it's cultural. I'll give you an example: How often have said the phrases: 'Masha Allah', 'Subhan Allah', 'Alhamdulillah' or 'insha Allah' ? I'm sure you've said them very often. But was that because you wanted to do Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) or because it's a normal social phrase?

Example at your service: When I say: 'Let's go to the park akhi' and you say 'insha'Allah.' Unfortunately most of us don't mean if Allah عز وجل predestined for us to go to the park it would have happened. Rather we just politely want to say 'please leave me alone'. See ? That's all because of culture.

Now have you ever heard Westerners say: 'Glory be to God', 'praise be to God' or 'God-willing'? Yeah I know that sometimes they actually say that, but definitely not as frequent as we do.

Coming back to the the original topic. This Muslim culture creates a large community with the same way of talking. This community is spread all around the internet: Reddit (this sub), YouTube, Tik Tok unfortunately and other social media.

Any Muslim would be happy if he saw a non Muslim accepting Islam. Most likely you smiled right when the takbir is said. These type of videos get lots of views, popular example is when Daud Kim accepted Islam.

Many non Muslims get an idea and say to themselves: 'you know what? These Muslims are great in number let me just lure them and get that AdSense money ' do you know how they get us? Exactly these cringy reaction videos. You see them crying over emotional Qur'an recitations and you get these typical clickbait titles: CATHOLIC LISTENS TO MOST EMOTIONAL QURAN RECITATION (EMOTIONAL). And in the thumbnail you see them crying and saying 'o Allah!! '

And in the comments you find many Muslim saying 'mashallah' or 'may Allah guide you'. And this trick unfortunately works. Listen, If they actually knew that Islam is the truth they would accepted Islam for themselves and know what is even funnier ? After all that crying they haven't even accepted Islam 😂 like huh? Please for the sake of Allah عز وجل just don't believe these actors and don't watch their videos they are literally luring you just for that AdSense money.

Allah عز وجل says in Surah Al-Baqarah (interpretation of the meaning):

"And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers."

"They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not."

"There is sickness in their hearts, and Allah ˹only˺ lets their sickness increase. They will suffer a painful punishment for their lies."

Ayah 8-10

May Allah عز وجل protect us and guide us all, ameen 🤲
