Throughout my experience in trying to convince kuffar the truth of Islam, I have noticed a strange but perhaps now obvious truth. Most people do not make spiritual decisions based on intellectual disagreement.

Rarely will you find a convert who says things such as "yeah the kalam cosmological argument is really what made me turn away from atheism!". And it's almost impossible for exmuslims to form a coherent thought against Islam let alone arguments.

Rather most people convert to Islam because they love the guidance in it, or the ethics impressed them, or were nurtured by Muslims more than people of their any other faith. So I ask all of you who are currently engaging in dawah. Perhaps it will be more beneficial to focus on morals, guidance, mercy and such things in your dawah rather than "proof #1989 that Islam is true"

Do not get me wrong, it is important for us to defend our faith intellectually and to present it's truth, but this isn't what makes people gain or lose faith I've noticed.
