Asalam Walikyum brothers and sisters, recently I have taken an interest in animation specifically 3d animation. While I was learning about the intricacies and the way it works I've noticed to create a good 3d animation it is required to have a subject that is constantly moving dynamically. This means humans or a humanoid-like object would be required. From what I understand is that animating humans would be haram, however, would it be haram to animate a robot-like creature and adding on to this, would it be haram to use a pre-existing model and animating it. I.e using that model to turn into a robot or to animate the model itself? Please advise as I don't want to be any more invested before finding out it is haram. Thank you.
