This server was created as a platform for discussing and learning more about Islam and the world in general. We are primarily Sunni Muslims, but anyone is welcome.
The server's purpose and goal is to establish an environment that allows people to grow intellectually and improve themselves. This is a great community with many resources, including a library as well as other channels in which we may deepen our discussions on many topics.
The aim is to provide - - A wide range of topics around interesting and familliar issues. - High level discussions about Islam and other general topics. - Fair rules that allow safe conversation to take place whilst maintaining a good server environment.
Channels that cater to a wide range of interests
- Islamic Discussions - Several discussion based channels to provide a platform for various topics and engaging in productive conversations.
- History A channel established with the aim to discuss history or share beneficial historical posts/links
- Theology and Theism Discussions centered around various religions, general theology and theism etc.
- Lounge-style channels where you may unwind and converse with others.
- Literature Talk is a channel where you may share pages from a book you're reading, talk about it, or just discuss about books in general.
- Science and Technology is a channel to share scientific based studies and engage in discussions about it. Talks and sharing material around tech matters etc.
- Gaming channel to talk about gaming
- Finance is a channel where you may talk about investment and finance in general.
- Fitness and Health A channel to discuss and share material relating to workouts, diets, health etc.
- Psych and social sciences is a channel dedicated to sharing research and discussing psychological and social issues.
- Library is a channel to post books, preferably PDF’s.
- Linguistics is a channel where you may talk about languages and ask questions about them.
- Wisdom and Reminders is a channel to post spiriual, prophetic and islamic reminders.
These are just a handful of them, there are others as well.
For muslim women, you can be voice verified by a female muslim moderator on the server, and after verification, you'll have access to women-only channels as well as the rest of the rest of the channels.
Members are free to communicate with members of the opposite gender and engage in social dialogue as long as they do not engage in flirtatious or immodest conduct.
Show humility, see the humanity in those whom you interact with, and don't be scared to grow. It's not about where you've been or where you are now, but about where you want to go and how you're going to get there!
